Asian-Inspired Grilled Tuna Steak:
- 2 tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure they are well coated. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the tuna steaks from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
- Note: Tuna steaks are a great source of lean protein. Be cautious not to overcook them, as they can become dry. Serve the grilled tuna steaks with steamed brown rice and stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
