 Lemon Garlic Grilled Shrimp Skewers:


  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes


  • In a bowl, whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  • Grill the shrimp skewers for about 2-3 minutes per side until they are cooked through and opaque.
  • Note: Be careful not to overcook the shrimp as they can become tough. Serve hot as an appetizer or with a salad for a light and refreshing meal.
