Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Herb Rub:

- 1 ½ pounds beef tenderloin

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves

- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

- Salt to taste

1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, thyme leaves, rosemary leaves, black pepper, and salt to create the herb rub.

3. Pat the beef tenderloin dry with a paper towel.

4. Rub the herb mixture all over the tenderloin, coating it evenly.

5. Place the tenderloin on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.

6. Remove the tenderloin from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

7. Slice the beef tenderloin into thick slices and serve.

Note: For added flavor, you can also let the beef tenderloin marinate in the herb rub for 30 minutes to an hour before grilling.

Serve the grilled beef tenderloin with a side of roasted vegetables or a green salad for a healthy and satisfying meal. Enjoy!
