Baked Pesto Chicken:
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup pesto sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
- Spread pesto sauce evenly over each chicken breast.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves before serving.
