PESTO CHICKEN

Baked Pesto Chicken:


Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup pesto sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cherry tomatoes for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  • Spread pesto sauce evenly over each chicken breast.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Garnish with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves before serving.
